Anand is an artist and an experimentalist from India who loves to experiment with the art style, medium, and tools he uses. He has worked on traditional oils on canvas, acrylics on canvas to his own unique mediums- photographic chemicals on bromides (which he calls photo-paintings) and oil and acrylic on x-ray films. Having lived in rustic Himalayan regions for forty years, one of his most recurring painting themes is Himalayan landscapes and nature in both impressionistic and abstract styles. The style of his paintings is a mixture of both traditional and modern approaches.

I am influenced with New York Streets, during my recent visits to U.S and i did this in acrylics, using vibrant colors in impressionistic style. Textures added with the help of different combs. A New York City street is not like a street anywhere else in America.
