The artist, Nasrah Nefer, has led a fascinating and diverse life that has greatly influenced her art. Born and raised in Heidelberg, she discovered her passion for painting at a young age and chose it as her primary form of expression. Following her completion of school and nurse training, she embarked on a journey to Italy to pursue a private art degree at the Art Academy of Francesco Santini in Sardegna.

Continuing her artistic education in Germany, Nasrah also delved into academic studies at the University of Cologne, specializing in Egyptology, Islamic studies, and Archaeology. Alongside her academic pursuits, she dedicated nine years to mastering Contemporary and Egyptian dance, which eventually led her to perform on international stages and teach dance, gymnastics, and arts.

In 2015, Nasrah’s art received well-deserved recognition when her paintings were published alongside poems by Franziska Pietsch in the Artist Book “Seelenlandschaften” by Karin Fischer Verlag. Continuing to expand her artistic horizons, she co-founded the Artist Group N A S Art in 2020 with fellow artists Ayşe Yalcındağ and Serpil Topaloğlu. This collective effort aimed to amalgamate the cultures of the Orient and Occident through art, drawing inspiration from designs of Art Nouveau and Art Deco, reflecting Nasrah’s artistic expression. Her artworks have been showcased in numerous international exhibitions.
