Mark Lore is a contemporary landscape painter and fine arts educator with over 45 years of experience. His work explores the dynamic interplay of color, light, and texture, capturing the essence of nature with an evocative, expressionist approach. Inspired by the landscapes of New England and beyond, Mark’s paintings balance realism and abstraction, drawing viewers into immersive, tactile compositions. A Massachusetts College of Art and Design graduate, he holds an MEd from Lesley University and spent nearly 30 years teaching before fully dedicating himself to painting. His work has been featured in galleries, juried publications, and exhibitions nationwide. Currently represented by The Boulder Gallery and a Copley Society of Art member. His art is a testament to the transformative power of nature, offering a vibrant, personal perspective on the landscapes that inspire him.
